Nonpublication Rates and Characteristics of Registered Randomized Clinical Trials in Digital Health: Cross-Sectional Analysis

Perhaps, the earliest indication of publication bias in the area of scientific research was in 1979 by Robert Rosenthal with the term “file drawer problem,” acknowledging the existence of selective publication bias for studies with positive and significant results [1]. Development of a Wearable Cardiac Monitoring System for Behavioral Neurocardiac Training: A Usability Study

Nolan et al [5,6] demonstrated that BNT reduced daytime systolic blood pressure by 2.4±0.9 mm Hg (P=.009) and 24-hour systolic blood pressure by 2.1±0.9 mm Hg (P=.03). This reduction was confirmed to be independent of pharmacologic interventions. BNT was also found to reduce symptoms on the Perceived Stress Scale (P=.001). BNT achieved these results by stimulating and exercising the autonomic reflexes, making them more efficient, and increasing total heart rate variability.
