Perspectives of Adolescents and Young Adults With Inflammatory Bowel Disease on a Biopsychosocial Transition Intervention: Qualitative Interview Study

Perspectives of Adolescents and Young Adults With Inflammatory Bowel Disease on a Biopsychosocial Transition Intervention: Qualitative Interview Study

Some adolescents and young adults felt the transition allowed them to reflect on their growth and development. There was an overarching sense of hope for the future, while, at times, this was coupled with feelings of sadness about the loss of relationships with familiar pediatric providers: “I mean, it’s a sign of maturity and that I’m growing. It’s kind of sad in that way, but you know, it’s a part of life.” [C-031].

Identifying Patient-Reported Outcome Measure Documentation in Veterans Health Administration Chiropractic Clinic Notes: Natural Language Processing Analysis

Identifying Patient-Reported Outcome Measure Documentation in Veterans Health Administration Chiropractic Clinic Notes: Natural Language Processing Analysis

While this would require some degree of manual effort, we do not suspect that incorporating additional PROMs into the model is particularly challenging given our experience in expanding the initial seed list during this study. We also did not incorporate pretrained or large-language models into this analysis due to restricted use in our computing environment at the time of this study.

An Interpretable Model With Probabilistic Integrated Scoring for Mental Health Treatment Prediction: Design Study

An Interpretable Model With Probabilistic Integrated Scoring for Mental Health Treatment Prediction: Design Study

However, LIME has some drawbacks: it does not inherently provide global explanations of the dataset as a whole and it can experience inconsistency because it requires multiple perturbations of input data and retraining local surrogate models [28]. An alternative XAI method that ranks the importance of features used by the model is Shapley additive explanations (SHAP) [29].

Examining Challenges to Co-Design Digital Health Interventions With End Users: Systematic Review

Examining Challenges to Co-Design Digital Health Interventions With End Users: Systematic Review

The inability to corral these competing interests led to disengagement or abandonment of the collaboration in some cases [119]. Ironically, a paradox exists in that the emergence of diverse stakeholder groups seeking to co-design with end users has led to difficulties in communicating and co-designing [120].

Evaluation of ChatGPT Performance on Emergency Medicine Board Examination Questions: Observational Study

Evaluation of ChatGPT Performance on Emergency Medicine Board Examination Questions: Observational Study

These findings prompt a re-evaluation of the presumed advantage of tailoring AI through specific educational content, suggesting that the core capabilities of advanced AI models might already be sufficiently robust for some less highly subspecialized educational applications. Additionally, these findings promote investigation into future upcoming Chat GPT models to evaluate if their advancements have accelerated benefit in the medical field.

Leveraging Patient-Reported Outcome Measures for Optimal Dose Selection in Early Phase Cancer Trials

They found that all 50 AEs reported by at least 10% of patients undergoing cancer treatment (n=243) were consistently underreported by physicians using the CTCAE, in some cases markedly.

Automated Digital Safety Planning Interventions for Young Adults: Qualitative Study Using Online Co-design Methods

Automated Digital Safety Planning Interventions for Young Adults: Qualitative Study Using Online Co-design Methods

Texting has the technological affordance of being a conversational medium, potentially addressing some of the shortcomings of automated digital safety plans that are documentation only. By eliciting information relevant to safety planning in a conversational manner, an automated texting–based SPI may be able to increase the personalization and relevance of digital safety plans.

Parental Perceptions of Priorities and Features for a Mobile App to Promote Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors in Preschool Children: Mixed Methods Evaluation

Some have gotten to cluttered and have to many things going on, to many things to edit, so, simple is best. (Caregiver to a 4-year-old boy) I would just say simple. As a parent with everything else on my plate, simplicity is the easiest way[…] if I’m looking for something in particular, I want to be able to find it as quickly as I can.
