Assessment of Health System Readiness and Quality of Dementia Services in Peru: Protocol for a Qualitative Study With Stakeholder Interviews and Documentation Review

Assessment of Health System Readiness and Quality of Dementia Services in Peru: Protocol for a Qualitative Study With Stakeholder Interviews and Documentation Review

The 10/66 Dementia Research Group study [25] highlights the high cost of dementia for health systems and the negative mental health impacts on women in LMICs, who are often primary caregivers for people with dementia [26]. This underscores the need for further research on dementia diagnosis and care in LMICs and for directing it effectively toward impactful decision-making.

Establishing Syndromic Surveillance of Acute Coronary Syndrome, Myocardial Infarction, and Stroke: Registry Study Based on Routine Data From German Emergency Departments

Given the aggregated nature of the data, linkage to the ED data is not possible in this case. We included all EDs in the study that provided continuous data between January 1, 2019 and May 3, 2021. Continuous data availability was defined as providing a minimum of one ED attendance with either an ED diagnosis or chief complaint and one hospital discharge diagnosis for each day of the study period.

Understanding the Engagement and Interaction of Superusers and Regular Users in UK Respiratory Online Health Communities: Deep Learning–Based Sentiment Analysis

Understanding the Engagement and Interaction of Superusers and Regular Users in UK Respiratory Online Health Communities: Deep Learning–Based Sentiment Analysis

The primary motivation of this study is to investigate the engagement patterns of different user types, particularly superusers and regular users, and how their interactions influence the overall sentiment of posts. Our hypothesis is that superusers play a pivotal role in community cohesion, offering immediate access to a support network for self-management, as well as emotional and illness-related support.

Assessment of Environmental, Sociocultural, and Physiological Influences on Women’s Toileting Decisions and Behaviors Using “Where I Go”: Pilot Study of a Mobile App

The purpose of this second report is to (1) demonstrate that Where I Go can capture nuanced and granular data in real-time or via short look-back periods, and (2) provide an initial description of the variation in novel parameters collected within Where I Go to support readiness for use in large population-based studies. After institutional review board approval, we used a cross-sectional study design with sampling from regions surrounding 4 PLUS research centers (Washington University in St.

Using Laboratory Test Results for Surveillance During a New Outbreak of Acute Hepatitis in 3-Week- to 5-Year-Old Children in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Curaçao: Observational Cohort Study

The 3-week- to 5-year-old age group was of primary interest. Any measurements for an individual who had previously had an elevated measurement of ALT or AST during the study period were removed. In Wales (United Kingdom), pooled data were collected for 4 different health boards. Details on the different health boards can be found in the supplement. The monthly incidence of children meeting the case definition for non–A-E hepatitis was also collected.

Health and Well-Being in the Context of Health-Promoting University Initiatives: Protocol for a Mixed Methods Needs Assessment Study at Qatar University

In a needs assessment study, students at Newcastle University in the United Kingdom expressed a desire for access to sports facilities, safe walking areas, and healthy food options on campus to support a healthy lifestyle [22]. Similarly, a study exploring the health-related needs of medical students in the United Arab Emirates identified several on-campus health literacy initiatives as essential for fostering a healthier student population [23].
