A literature review is a systematic way of collecting studies relevant to a research topic, assessing the methodologies and results of the studies, and making recommendations for improvements if necessary [11]. In the health care domain, the implementation of literature reviews has been considered important for conducting further research and developing guidelines for clinical practice [12].

The Robert Koch Institute (RKI), a federal agency and research institute responsible for disease control and prevention in Germany, has recognized the practical benefits of this approach. At the RKI, an ED syndromic surveillance system has been established in 2020, using daily routine data from the German Emergency Department Data Registry AKTIN [2]. Currently, 58 EDs in 12 German federal states voluntarily provide data for research and surveillance purposes.

To address this gap, the Prevention of Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (PLUS) Research Consortium developed a smartphone app called “Where I Go.” The Consortium’s goal was to produce a sophisticated data collection tool to explore potential relationships between factors influencing toileting decisions and bladder health.

The AMC Core Team recruits, trains, and supports regional mentors, typically dietitians or managers with experience improving nutrition care in a clinical setting and connects them with hospital champions who are typically front-line clinical dietitians. The AMC Core Team supports a quarterly national community of practice to enhance mentor-champion capacity building for implementation and oversees AMC program evaluation (Figure 2).

The development of the topic guide will be based on the findings from the qualitative assessment, literature review, and the expertise of the research team, ensuring a systematic approach to data collection. The topic guides will include key open-ended questions, along with probes to allow participants to comfortably express their views on issues related to both the physical and mental health and well-being of students at QU.

Existing findings draw on more than a decade of broad research into time spent on social media and online engagement patterns, including both active and passive social media use [1-3]. The rapidly changing nature of social media related behaviors exacerbates the difficulty of inquiry in this field and necessitates focused social media research questions to try to extend and explain the findings from existing studies to explore this complexity in greater depth.

Prior research suggests that cognitive benefits associated with mindfulness can be observed with brief practice [59-61], suggesting that mindfulness is amenable to time-limited interventions. Despite these advantages, mindfulness has been overlooked in behavior modification AD/ADRD prevention interventions.
Our interdisciplinary team has developed the first group mindfulness-based lifestyle intervention (My Healthy Brain [MHB]) that aims to modify early risk for AD/ADRD.

Still, additional research is needed to elucidate the pathways through which networks and neighborhoods foster racial and ethnic disparities in HIV care outcomes. The results of such analyses will provide an empirical basis for interventions and policies to fill gaps in the care continuum among Black and Latino MSM.
