Creation of Text Vignettes Based on Patient-Reported Data to Facilitate a Better Understanding of the Patient Perspective: Design Study

For this process, the upper threshold was adjusted from 2.50 to 2.70 based on data from the study by Kayser et al [20]. The vignettes were continuously refined through cognitive interviews to evaluate and improve the participants’ understanding and ability to comprehend the content. The text strings iteratively created and validated in part 2 served as the foundation for the work in part 3. In part 3, the focus shifted to testing the applicability of individual text vignettes within a clinical setting.
