For these reasons, this study aims to assess the readiness to diagnose and treat dementia, as well as the quality of dementia services, in the Peruvian health system from the perspective of various stakeholders.
The study has 2 overarching objectives, which are addressed by 2 parallel substudies, respectively: a health system assessment (HSA) and an exploration of the patient journey within the health system.

The AMC Core Team recruits, trains, and supports regional mentors, typically dietitians or managers with experience improving nutrition care in a clinical setting and connects them with hospital champions who are typically front-line clinical dietitians. The AMC Core Team supports a quarterly national community of practice to enhance mentor-champion capacity building for implementation and oversees AMC program evaluation (Figure 2).

These statistics were calculated for each month in our study period in the age groups of younger than 3 weeks old, 3 weeks to 5 years old, 6‐16 years old, 17‐50 years old, and older than 50 years. The 3-week- to 5-year-old age group was of primary interest. Any measurements for an individual who had previously had an elevated measurement of ALT or AST during the study period were removed. In Wales (United Kingdom), pooled data were collected for 4 different health boards.

To minimize these risks, we discuss the importance of confidentiality at the start of each group; request that participants attend the session from a private location; and all data are deidentified, maintained in a secured location, and only accessed by IRB-approved members of the research team.

This mixed methods prospective study was conducted between December 2022 and May 2023 and consisted of 5 phases: script generation, video creation, cross-platform publication, process, and impact evaluation (Figure 1). This study was inspired by the “Knowledge-to-action (KTA)” framework, whereby the content of the videos is based on scientific evidence synthesis, translation, and validation through expert consultation and patient engagement [20].
