Janssen et al [6] described the exact data collection procedure. Participants in the data set contacted the 113 crisis chat service in the Netherlands between 8:30 AM and 10:30 PM. All clients who spoke Dutch, filled out both a pre-and postchat questionnaire, and reported at least some suicidal ideation on the prechat questionnaire (score ≥1 on a 7-point Likert scale) were eligible for participation in the study [6].
