Functional magnetic resonance imaging (f MRI) is an imaging technique that depicts the neural activity in the brain in real time based on the changes in local oxygen consumption and cerebral blood flow [8]. f MRI is widely used in pain-related research, and it can detect the effects of different types of pain on brain activity. A number of studies have shown that structural and functional changes can occur in the brains of patients with LDH [9].

This will consist of an anatomical T1-weighted MP-RAGE (magnetization-prepared rapid gradient-echo) scan (echo time = 3 ms, repetition time = 2500 ms, flip angle = 7o) and 7 f MRI scans for each participant: 1 f MRI scan collected during dual-echo p CASL (pseudocontinuous arterial spin labeling) (TE1/TE2 = 10/25 ms, TR = 4000 ms, 1 f MRI scan collected during CVR (TE = 21 ms, TR = 1000 ms, voxel size = 3mm x 3mm x 3mm, flip angle = 50o, number of volumes = 420), 3 runs of a language based task (TE = 25 ms, TR =

Therefore, we plan to use functional magnetic resonance imaging (f MRI) to analyze brain activity and connectivity data and collect stool samples to analyze the composition of the intestinal microbiota in patients with CFS.
This randomized controlled trial will be conducted based on the hypothesis that the application of PLWNT could alleviate fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, and gastrointestinal symptoms in patients with CFS.

This study will also examine the persuasive elements of self-generated and other-generated content via functional magnetic resonance imaging (f MRI; aim 3). This project will include technology importance and parent involvement as moderators.
Study 2 will use f MRI to understand how neural correlates associated with positive and negative TDM experiences relate to mental and behavioral health.

Before randomization and again after completion of the 8-week program, all participants completed self-report assessments and functional magnetic resonance imaging (f MRI), both described in detail below. A total of 2 participants were removed from the analysis for excessive movement during f MRI, resulting in a cohort of 50% (7/14) practitioners (6/7, 86% women) and 50% (7/14) controls (5/7, 71% women; Table 1). Participants were compensated US $100 for completing both assessments.

In patients with MCI, significant associations have been observed between verbal memory improvement and left hippocampal activation in task-related f MRI after 8-week training to improve auditory processing speed and accuracy [11].

All participants underwent f MRI while performing a self-referential processing task and completing self-report questionnaires, including the Korean version of the Social Phobia Scale (SPS) (H. Kim, unpublished) and Post-Event Rumination Scale (PERS) [28]. The participants with social anxiety disorder underwent f MRI and assessments before and after treatment, while the control participants underwent f MRI only once.

To this end, we will use neuropsychological, clinical, and psychophysical tests in combination with functional and structural MRI (f MRI and s MRI). In addition, f MRI acquisitions will include scanning during the performance of a speech processing task (detailed later) to probe the function of the speech processing network, besides the resting state f MRI to probe the brain network function more generally, whereas s MRI would enable the assessment of both the volume and integrity of the gray and white matter.
