Evidence-to-practice gaps in health care contribute to inefficient and ineffective care, ballooning costs, poor experiences for patients, frustration and burnout for health care providers, and widening health inequities [1]. In response to these challenges, there is a growing emphasis on the development, implementation, and evaluation of learning health systems (LHSs).

The results of this scoping review will provide an understanding of the gaps in existing literature surrounding the distribution of 3 D-printed simulator designs. In addition, the results of this review will demonstrate the potential barriers in establishing partnerships with NPOs and university-based research centers to share designs globally.

Analysis of Self-Care Activities in Type 2 Diabetes in Brazil: Protocol for a Scoping Review
It also seeks to identify gaps in evidence, clarify key concepts, and report on the types of evidence that address and inform practice in a thematic area [8].
This protocol will guide a scoping review to identify and map studies that evaluate self-care activities in T2 D in Brazil.
