Peer review of the strategies will be conducted by an information specialist (MMM) using the Peer Review of Electronic Search Strategies guidelines [127]. Preliminary searches by 2 reviewers (JEC and VY) resulted in pilot data of 94 studies, which will be used by the librarian to harvest search terms.

Conceptions of Legacy Among People Making Treatment Choices for Serious Illness: Protocol for a Scoping Review

We will explore several electronic databases, including Pub Med, MEDLINE, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, Psyc INFO, and others, to be informed by the subject matter expert (SME) librarian. We will also hand search the gray literature to identify highly relevant sources, such as reports, and evidence-based legacy programs. Gray literature sources include dissertations (to be accessed via Pro Quest) and letters to the editor. We will include empirical articles written in English from 1990 to the present.
