Trends in Mental Health Outcomes of College Students Amid the Pandemic (Roadmap mHealth App): Longitudinal Observational Study

Trends in Mental Health Outcomes of College Students Amid the Pandemic (Roadmap mHealth App): Longitudinal Observational Study

This was a 3-phase longitudinal and observational study conducted in the fall semesters of 2020, 2021, and 2022, referred to as Year I, Year II, and Year III, respectively. Notably, the same cohort of students was invited to participate each year, beginning from Year I, aside from any participants who had formally dropped out. The research protocol was previously published [41], and additional information regarding the study design for Year I can be found in our previous manuscript [42].

Strategies to Implement a Community-Based, Longitudinal Cohort Study: The Whole Communities-Whole Health Case Study

Strategies to Implement a Community-Based, Longitudinal Cohort Study: The Whole Communities-Whole Health Case Study

Conducting a community-based, longitudinal cohort study with an interdisciplinary university research team is a grand challenge. For the university, the success of the project relies on having a shared vision, collaboration, budget, staff, volunteers, and other support. On the community’s side, the project relies on the community’s motivation to participate, communication, and trust in the research process, particularly when the study focuses on marginalized and underrepresented groups.

Assessing the Response Results of an mHealth-Based Patient Experience Survey Among People Receiving HIV Care in Lusaka, Zambia: Cohort Study

In Australia, longitudinal data collection through SMS text messages, with presurvey notifications, has been shown to be effective for monitoring postoperative pediatric pain, providing hope that our m Health model may be an efficient mechanism to collect data longitudinally in our setting as well [20,21]. However, in our population of adults in HIV care, we found that subsequent invitations to participants were significantly less successful than the initial invitation.
