BCP has been mixed in vivo and in vitro with autografts, inducing factors or cells to improve its osteoinductivity [11,12], also in the fields of dentistry and maxillofacial surgery [13-15]. Although calcium phosphate ceramic is not yet considered standard-of-care, it has been used for alveolar cleft reconstruction with satisfactory results [16], reportedly providing support for teeth eruption [17].
