An Evidence-Based Digital Prevention Program to Improve Oral Health Literacy of People With a Migration Background: Intervention Mapping Approach

An Evidence-Based Digital Prevention Program to Improve Oral Health Literacy of People With a Migration Background: Intervention Mapping Approach

Some studies revealed that people with a migration background score lower than the majority of the population on certain components of OHL, for example, the ability to comprehend oral health knowledge [11,12]. Thus, it seems plausible that a lower OHL could be decisive for the oral health differences between people with and without a migration background in Germany.

German Health Update Fokus (GEDA Fokus) among Residents with Croatian, Italian, Polish, Syrian, or Turkish Citizenship in Germany: Protocol for a Multilingual Mixed-Mode Interview Survey

In 2020, 27% of the population had a so-called migration background, which is defined by the Federal Office for Statistics as the person themselves or at least 1 of their parents were born with a citizenship other than German [2]. In Germany, 17% of the population had their own history of migration [2].

Peer Review of “Medical Brain Drain From Southeastern Europe: Using Digital Demography to Forecast Health Worker Emigration”

Peer Review of “Medical Brain Drain From Southeastern Europe: Using Digital Demography to Forecast Health Worker Emigration”

This paper [1] represents an important contribution to the development of digital demographic methods and digital tools that can monitor and analyze demographic processes, especially migration as a highly dynamic component of population movement. This is extremely important in the management and planning of population development, especially in those populations that, as the examples of countries (subject areas) mentioned in the text, are struggling with intensive and increased emigration of young people.

Data Have digital traces been used as an indicator of migration before? If so, please cite. I have concerns that some of the Google terms used indicate wider emigration rather than health worker migration. If you want to refer to the wider emigration from Croatia to Germany/Austria (either via digital traces or via secondary data), you need to be clear that this is not health care worker (HW) migration you're referring to. I've compared HW migration with migration more generally in a recent paper [2].

Analysis of data obtained through the Google Search engine is therefore gaining in importance in many social sciences [62], and this paper will show that this approach can be beneficial in forecasting the migration of health workers.

Spatiotemporal Analysis of Men Who Have Sex With Men in Mainland China: Social App Capture-Recapture Method

Spatiotemporal Analysis of Men Who Have Sex With Men in Mainland China: Social App Capture-Recapture Method

Despite the growing significance of MSM in the HIV epidemic and efforts in estimating HIV burden, nationwide figures, including population size, geographical distribution, and migration, are still largely unknown in China. Social media big data in China may help fill this gap. China has experienced dramatic development in information technology in the past two decades. At the end of 2015, 85.3% of young people had access to the internet, 90% of them via mobile phones [29].

Migration Influences on the Allostatic Load of Children: Systematic Review Protocol

Migration Influences on the Allostatic Load of Children: Systematic Review Protocol

Different areas of inquiry have tackled migration from their own points of view. Herein, we look at migration from a biological perspective, where migration is generally defined as the movement of an individual or group of individuals from one territory to another to establish a new area of residence [1,2]. This entails a change in the environment with respect to one's place of origin and host.
