User Outcomes for an App-Delivered Hypnosis Intervention for Menopausal Hot Flashes: Retrospective Analysis

User Outcomes for an App-Delivered Hypnosis Intervention for Menopausal Hot Flashes: Retrospective Analysis

As the Evia program is designed to be used daily for 5 weeks, it may be that some participants’ lack of consistency made it challenging to understand the effects of use on outcome. A future study may be able to address this by examining within a more standardized study design whether use is associated with hot flash outcomes. Furthermore, this dataset relied on single-day measures of hot flash frequency for both baseline and end point.

Tracking Implementation Outcomes of an Intensive Case Management Program for HIV: Protocol for a Mixed Methods Study

Tracking Implementation Outcomes of an Intensive Case Management Program for HIV: Protocol for a Mixed Methods Study

Outcome tracking in implementation science enables researchers, practitioners, and policy makers to understand the effectiveness of interventions, identify barriers and facilitators to implementation, and refine strategies to improve the delivery and impact of evidence-based practices [12]. Implementation science outcome tracking is especially crucial for ICM programs.

Effects of a Digital Care Pathway for Multiple Sclerosis: Observational Study

Effects of a Digital Care Pathway for Multiple Sclerosis: Observational Study

A few digital patient portals for pw MS have been created [18,19], but the patient satisfaction and patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) of these have not been studied. A digital well-being app has been shown to improve well-being in patients with chronic conditions [20], among them pw MS. More established are data on the impact of web-based education programs and services, as shown in MS community members using the Understanding Multiple Sclerosis course [21].

Safety in Teletriage by Nurses and Physicians in the United States and Israel: Narrative Review and Qualitative Study

Safety in Teletriage by Nurses and Physicians in the United States and Israel: Narrative Review and Qualitative Study

Both appropriate referrals (ARs) and overreferrals (ORs) are considered safe, but ORs are not cost-effective—a less desirable outcome. Some experts suspect that doctors of medicine (MDs) are reluctant to define safety or to criticize other MDs’/researchers’ work. Without a consensus on safe outcomes that are evidence based, it will be difficult for the industry to make meaningful progress toward the goal of safety. Research on meaningful safe outcomes is needed.

Comparing the Perspectives of Generative AI, Mental Health Experts, and the General Public on Schizophrenia Recovery: Case Vignette Study

Comparing the Perspectives of Generative AI, Mental Health Experts, and the General Public on Schizophrenia Recovery: Case Vignette Study

The answers were then summed up, such that each positive and negative long-term outcome score ranged from −5 to 5. The likely outcomes with and without professional treatment for the 2 vignettes, as evaluated by the LLMs, mental help professionals, and the general public (reported by Caldwell and Jorm [38,43]), were analyzed using 1-way ANOVA, with Fisher least significant difference applied as a post hoc analysis.

Oral Cannabidiol for Seborrheic Dermatitis in Patients With Parkinson Disease: Randomized Clinical Trial

Oral Cannabidiol for Seborrheic Dermatitis in Patients With Parkinson Disease: Randomized Clinical Trial

While this study was sufficiently powered to detect the primary outcome (efficacy of CBD on PD motor symptoms), it was underpowered for these secondary outcomes of detecting changes in the presence and severity of SD. CBD has shown significant promise in improving SD in a topical form; however, no current literature exists to evaluate its effect when taken orally [20].
