The Utility of Wearable Cameras in Developing Examination Questions and Answers on Physical Examinations: Preliminary Study

The Utility of Wearable Cameras in Developing Examination Questions and Answers on Physical Examinations: Preliminary Study

In medical education, wearable video cameras have shown their usefulness in patient interviews [2], virtual physical examination training [3], educational live-streaming ward rounds [4], basic clinical procedures (eg, vascular access) [2], and endoscopic and surgical procedures [5,6]. Wearable cameras, capable of capturing highly realistic situations, can be effective in assessing practical knowledge and providing educational feedback. However, they have not been used in medical examinations.

Virtual Reality Applications for the Implementation of Domestic Respiratory Rehabilitation Programs for Patients With Long COVID and Post-COVID Condition: Scoping Review

Virtual Reality Applications for the Implementation of Domestic Respiratory Rehabilitation Programs for Patients With Long COVID and Post-COVID Condition: Scoping Review

After the treatment of acute symptoms is completed, patients need postacute rehabilitation, where physical therapy plays an important role in the treatment of lung-specific symptoms. For the best treatment possible, outpatient programs as well as solutions for the implementation of therapy programs in the home environment have to be established [8,9].

Evaluation of Primary Allied Health Care in Patients Recovering From COVID-19 at 6-Month Follow-up: Dutch Nationwide Prospective Cohort Study

Based on the overall effects of primary allied health care, it is expected that primary allied health professionals (ie, dietitians, exercise therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech and language therapists) can play a role in the recovery of patients with COVID-19 who experience persistent limitations in daily physical functioning and participation.

Removing Biases in Communication of Severity Assessments of Intimate Partner Violence: Model Development and Evaluation

Removing Biases in Communication of Severity Assessments of Intimate Partner Violence: Model Development and Evaluation

Even higher numbers have been shown by WHO [11] where the lifetime prevalence in the United Kingdom for sexual abuse is 16%, for physical violence is 25%, and for psychological violence is 34%. Physical violence is considered any form of hitting, slapping, kicking, etc. The most studied violence is men’s physical violence against women [13]. Women also experience more severe forms of violence [14] and more overlapping forms of violence [15].

The Effects of Exergaming on Executive and Physical Functions in Older Adults With Dementia: Randomized Controlled Trial

The Effects of Exergaming on Executive and Physical Functions in Older Adults With Dementia: Randomized Controlled Trial

Furthermore, exercise provides beneficial effects in reducing the risk of decreased physical function, such as balance [32-34], gait [34], and mobility [35], and poor muscular power and functional capacity [32,36]. Given the exercise training component of exergaming (ie, aerobic and strength capacities), we postulated that exergaming may be effective in not only cognitive function but also in physical function.

Digital Peer-Supported Self-Management Intervention Codesigned by People With Long COVID: Mixed Methods Proof-of-Concept Study

LC has devastating psychological, physical, and cognitive consequences that disrupt lives and livelihoods. There are currently 90 specialist post–COVID-19 clinics across the United Kingdom, but there is wide local variation in referral rates, waiting times, and access across demographic groups [8]. Many services were suspended due to staff shortages following the rise in cases of the Omicron variant [9].

The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Physical and Mental Health in China and Spain: Cross-sectional Study

The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Physical and Mental Health in China and Spain: Cross-sectional Study

As a result, we proposed a study to conduct an in-depth analysis of physical and mental health in China and Spain during the pandemic. The theoretical framework of this study was based on the chain mediation model, which shows the need for health information, and the perceived impacts of the pandemic were sequential mediators between physical symptoms resembling COVID-19 infection and consequent mental health status [21].

Design and Evaluation of User-Centered Exergames for Patients With Multiple Sclerosis: Multilevel Usability and Feasibility Studies

Design and Evaluation of User-Centered Exergames for Patients With Multiple Sclerosis: Multilevel Usability and Feasibility Studies

Therefore, there is a huge socioeconomic need to stabilize and counteract physical disabilities and cognitive dysfunctions by introducing effective therapies for patients with MS. In general, physical exercise is a safe method that can yield beneficial effects such as depending on the training content, muscular strength, and aerobic capacity and, consequently, it improves mobility, fatigue, and quality of life in patients with MS [19-21].
