Indeed, data collected from Canadian postsecondary institutions through the 2019 National College Health Assessment II survey revealed large proportions of students feeling hopeless (63.6%), overwhelmed (88.2%), and anxious (68.9%) within the past 12 months [4]. Existing research has highlighted the variety of stressors students experience within the postsecondary setting [5,6].
