This is a novel approach that can positively influence community reintegration for veterans, especially those who face physical and psychological health issues, substance abuse, and unemployment [14].
Facilitation of community reintegration (CR) is part of the mission of the VA [2]. Veteran community reintegration refers to a military service member’s transition from active duty to participation in life outside of the military [15].

Workplace reintegration interventions offered in clinical health or workers’ compensation settings to address posttraumatic stress injuries and OSIs can be effective in reducing psychological distress and improving daily function. They may have a limited ability, however, to help PSP constructively engage with real-world occupational stressors given that they are offered outside of the PSP service environment [13].
