The proposed study aims at targeting the following three main research questions: (1) to what extent is systemic inflammation measured by serum CRP associated with the CRP measured non-invasively in urine, sweat, and saliva? (2) to what extent is systemic inflammation measured by serum cytokines (ie, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, and TNF-α) associated with cytokines measured noninvasively in urine and sweat?
