Agreements and Disagreements Between Professionals and Users About the Experience of a Telehealth Service for HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (TelePrEP): Qualitative Interview Study

Numerous factors are related to discontinuation of Pr EP use, such as substance use [10], low or changed perception of risk [10-13], change in relationship status and sexual partners’ understanding of Pr EP [10,13-15], side effects of Pr EP [11,13,14], drug intake and fatigue [12], stigma due to the assumption that Pr EP users test positive for HIV or have sex with multiple partners [16,17], the need to maintain confidentiality [18], among others.

Evaluation of an Online-Based Self-Help Program for Patients With Panic Disorder: Randomized Controlled Trial

Logistic regression analyses showed that participant dropout for the WHO-5 was not associated with any of the following baseline variables: group allocation, sex, age, work capacity, medication intake, or the baseline values of any of the primary or secondary outcomes. For the PAS, dropout was not associated with group allocation, age, work capacity, psychotherapy, or the baseline values of any primary or secondary outcomes.

Personalized Physician-Assisted Sleep Advice for Shift Workers: Algorithm Development and Validation Study

The morning surveys also recorded participants’ daily behaviors, including the amount of caffeine intake and last intake time, amount of alcohol intake, and bath time. From the time entries, we computed the durations between their last caffeine intake and sleep and between bath and sleep. Features from the evening surveys were divided into 2 categories—work and well-being.

Exploring the Capacity of Large Language Models to Assess the Chronic Pain Experience: Algorithm Development and Validation

Exploring the Capacity of Large Language Models to Assess the Chronic Pain Experience: Algorithm Development and Validation

Similarly, Meldrum et al [17] conducted a narrative analysis with semistructured interviews with children experiencing chronic pain, both at preintervention and 6-12 months post clinic intake. The use of narrative methodology has extended to written texts as well. Mc Gowan et al [18] solicited written narratives (WNs) from women with chronic pelvic pain, while Dysvik et al [19] examined WNs from individuals with chronic pain 6 years after completing a pain management intervention.

Perception and Evaluation of a Knowledge Transfer Concept in a Digital Health Application for Patients With Heart Failure: Mixed Methods Study

Perception and Evaluation of a Knowledge Transfer Concept in a Digital Health Application for Patients With Heart Failure: Mixed Methods Study

Self-monitoring of physiological parameters, medication intake, nutrition, and physical activity are crucial factors in preventing the hospitalizations of patients [6,7]. In this context, health literacy plays a major role since high levels of health literacy in patients with heart failure promote patient empowerment, self-care practices, and medication adherence [8-10].

Insights Into How mHealth Applications Could Be Introduced Into Standard Hypertension Care in Germany: Qualitative Study With German Cardiologists and General Practitioners

Lifestyle interventions for preventive behavior, such as improving medication adherence, restricting food intake, or promoting activity, can generally be encouraged with the help of m Health apps [10-17]. A systematic review concluded that the use of m Health apps in hypertension care by general practitioners could be very useful, although various barriers, such as generational differences in willingness to use digital devices and the lack of knowledge of available m Health apps, need to be overcome [18].

The Monthly Cycling of Food Insecurity in Latinas at Risk for Diabetes: Methods, Retention, and Sample Characteristics for a Microlongitudinal Design

The Monthly Cycling of Food Insecurity in Latinas at Risk for Diabetes: Methods, Retention, and Sample Characteristics for a Microlongitudinal Design

A useful theoretical framework for describing the sociocognitive processes involved in health behaviors, such as fruit and vegetable intake, is the Health Action Process Approach (HAPA) model [13]. HAPA constructs include risk awareness, outcome expectancy, self-efficacy, intention, action planning, and coping planning. Understanding these constructs among Latinas in relation to FI may inform behavioral approaches for this population.

Predicting Clinical Outcomes at the Toronto General Hospital Transitional Pain Service via the Manage My Pain App: Machine Learning Approach

Predicting Clinical Outcomes at the Toronto General Hospital Transitional Pain Service via the Manage My Pain App: Machine Learning Approach

The MMP app provides a comprehensive digital platform where patients can fill out intake and follow-up questionnaires, track their symptoms, view symptom patterns and trends, and access educational resources about managing pain. Clinicians, in turn, can view each patient’s record in the app to gain insights into their ongoing pain and symptom patterns and to support patient-clinician communication and decision-making about treatment. The MMP app has become the standard of care at the TPS since May 2020.
