The hemodynamics in the frontal cortex during the resting state were measured using the f NIRS device (NIRSIT; OBELAB Inc). The NIRSIT has 24 laser diodes (sources) emitting light at 2 wavelengths (780 nm and 850 nm) and 32 photodetectors with a sampling rate of 8.138 Hz [24]. The distance between the source and photodetector is 15 mm. Based on the suggested suitable sensor-detector separation distance for measuring cortical hemodynamic changes, only 30-mm channels were analyzed in this study [25].

Hemodynamic results of ascending aorta constriction model and ascending aorta deconstriction model in mice.
a LVDP: left ventricular diastolic pressure.
b LVSP: left ventricular systolic pressure.
c+dp/dt max: maximal rate of the increase of left ventricular pressure.

Accordingly, as these complications largely occur in the postoperative inpatient period, a rapid, repeatable noninvasive investigation to serially monitor relevant intracranial hemodynamics may be of clinical and prognostic benefit.
