The study was carried out in outpatient psychiatry clinics across the Johns Hopkins Medical Institution and the Kennedy Krieger Institute, which is affiliated with but separate from the Johns Hopkins Medical Institution. We focused on clinics that use a collaborative care model in which patients see a psychiatrist for medication-assisted care as well as a master’s level therapist or doctoral-level psychologist for ongoing psychotherapy.
