Interest in digital solutions such as telemetry is increasing because they are innovative and sustainable approaches. In telemetric interventions, patient data are collected remotely and transmitted via telecommunication systems to a health care provider [6]. Telematics, the science of telecommunication and informatics, was developed in the 1970s [7].

Telemetry has the advantage that no physical presence is necessary [6]. Telemetry is characterized by the American Telemedicine Association as “remote acquisition, recording, and transmission of patient data via a telecommunications system to a health care professional for analysis and decision making” [6].
